At 25 years old Vi is still a virgin who's yet to be kissed or been on a date, but that's alright because she's fine with being single. Vi doesn't want to be in a relationship and she definitely doesn't want to fall in love. Love only brings heartache and sadness and she wants no part of it, because nothing lasts forever, not even love. She's content with her life and happy she finally opened the bakery she always dreamed about.
But Vi never expected her first customer to be the one man who would turn her life upside down.
Kyle has never been the "bed them, leave them," kind of guy. Instead, he enjoyed the courting, commitment, and connection that comes with all relationships. However, no matter how much he searched he never found the connection he longed for nor the one person meant for him. One look at the woman standing behind the counter in the small bakery and he knew she would become someone special to him.
But how do you make someone who's afraid to love, fall in love with you? Kyle will soon realize it's going to take everything he has, to show Vi that not all love stories are meant to end.
