Kyle is just a boy. He is living a normal life. He has a loving girlfriend, a nice home, and a super cuddly cat who is only comfortable around him. He has the same life others wish to have. He is only 21 yet already owns a house. He went to college on a scholarship and now writes for an online magazine, and is trying to break out into the world of writing novels too.
Everything you see about Kyle is average. His haircut doesn't stand out in a crowd. His hair color is a solid black with no indication of ever being dyed. He dresses neat, but not too neat as to seem like a prude. His girlfriend is the same. She has dirty blonde hair and dresses comfortably but not like a slob. Both are in shape and have jobs to contribute to paying for the house that they live in together and are happy. It is what most people want but can't have.
But that's just what meets the eye. Is Kyle really the person people think he is? Could he be hiding a part of himself not even those closest to him can see? Or is there really nothing interesting about Kyle Vennese?

He struggles to maintain relationships with his family, and despite a coworkers interest he can't summon up the courage to date. Elliot is living for the past, because to live for the present means he'll have to live with a hole in his heart.
