Dipper has gone a few years re-living the memory's of what happened during weridmegeddon throughout his nightmares; he has also considerably changed as a person being more standoff and getting into more fights and trouble.

Mable, on the other hand, seemed to forget all of the events of weridmegeddon and moved on with ease. Throughout highschool Mable seemed to have left her brother behind which also meant she participated in his bullying. She became more selfish and bratty but deep down still loved her brother.
