It was easily four am when I walked around the corner of the building. We're looking for something, well more like someone, but I don't know who or why yet. We had to be quick before the sun comes up and this ugly situation gets worse. Before whoever we were trying to find, found us first. It was cooler around this side of the building I had the arrow ready to fire if things didn't go to plan. The basic idea of this was, nobody gets hurt. We make it out of this alive and well and fingers crossed nobody had to get shot, not that I would really mind, I was angry, fed up with everything that had been going on for the past few weeks mostly angry at myself, for yelling at him, sending him away for something i was yet to prove, not that it mattered anyway. Really the reason we even had to find these two was my fault, and even worse the outcome of what could happen was even more so on my head. It was my fault they had the information to control someone's mind. There was a loud BOOM and everything went dark and smokey, a fire was now blazing an on the other side of the building.

This book doesn't line up with the Marvel Universe, the past, present and future don't all line up, I've changed things a bit for how I want them to be. ... I open my eyes and immediately close them again, bright lights shine down on me. I think back to why I'm in this situation, why I'm laying on a table with the smell of disinfectant in the air. ⏪ I was getting everyone out of a building at the centre of the Skylea attack, there was a trapped boy, I had to save him. When I found him my attention drifted to a window, out of it I saw something heading straight for us, so I grabbed him and ran down the stairs as fast as I could. When we were nearly to the front door it crashed into us, the building started collapsing, I told him to run. I tried to get out but I heard creaking, stupidly I turned around, a metal rod from I don't know where impaled me, I was trapped. The bloodloss and the fact that I hit my head on the floor wasn't doing me any favours. I tried to stay awake, I did, I focused solely on Tasha's voice. The suspense at the end of each chapter is great, you just can't wait to read on and when you do the action and twists are wonderful. Another great job by RavenBlack1832 is that they made sure Alex wasn't stealing other character's lines from the movie, all of them were her own just like her place on the team. The romance was also placed well throughout the story and not built up in certain spots that took over the plot.
