A typical short story about two students that fell in love
Some settings of the story are based on my last school and some of the people there are true to life and I incorporated them in it especially the friends there. Hope you'll enjoy my first published short story :) Inspired by the song Hanggang Kailan by Michael Pangilinan.

For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. But just as he was about to respond, I panicked and ran away. I thought I would never see him again. But life rarely turns out how you expect, right? 7 years later we meet again. What am I supposed to do now? Should I run away like before? Will our friendship turn into rivalry?
