Basically Maelstrom means a whirlpool,a huge disturbance. This is what happens in the life of 18 year old Aria Roberts. As the senior year of high school goes by,it reveals such secrets that her life takes a completely new turn. High school is tricky for everyone,but Aria has to face such earth shattering revelations that she gets confused about the authencity of even her dear ones.
