I turned around and stormed away, the heels of my feet pounding angrily down the silent hallway. Silent since nearly everyone had stopped to watch the scene we'd caused. He has recently found a mate and because of an accident that happened years ago after I found mine that caused her death, my punishment was that I would never have another mate.
