Originally started writing in 2011/12, continued in 2019, set in 2010.
For the Japanese football club Urawa Red Diamonds, the 2010 season brings potential, with new faces; newly-signed young Japanese star Kyo Yagami, out to prove that he's one of the best footballers not just in Japan, but all of Asia; Rahul Tendulkar, an Indian footballer from Mumbai with Bollywood good looks and talent to match; Scott McCarthy, a budding American superstar from Chicago, frustrated with his former MLS side, and looking for a chance to make the move to a major European club. And since it's a World Cup year, expectations are already high. If only the two young stars, Kyo and Scott, weren't on bad terms.
