Amelia Rufer is a spoiled, only child who is the pettiest, sassiest, and surprisingly one of the most depressing person in LicRock Academy, a boarding school for teenagers between the age of 15-19. Amelia is a freshman, and already is one of the most influential people in LicRock. She thinks that if she gains all this popularity, she will be the happy girl she used to be. Sorry, that's not the case.
What no-one in LicRock knows about Amelia is that she is the most two-faced person to ever exist on Earth. Outside, she's an energetic bully who gets amusement from seeing others getting torn down to the point where they don't have the will to live anymore. But inside, she's an anti-social psychopath who has social anxiety and depression, and she keeps this information from EVERYONE. NO ONE CAN FIND OUT.
And If "NO ONE" is Aurora Avery, you'd be right. Aurora is a childhood friend of Amelia, ever since the early days of Kindergarten. If there's someone to stand up for Aurora when she's getting called out, it's Amelia. They've been friends 'til basically the end, which would be true if Amelia didn't cut her off, block her on all social media, and stopped talking to everyone associated with her. This, to Aurora, was heartbreaking.
She begged her parents for her to go to LicRock, in which they let her. Aurora became a friend, to an obsessive stalker. She'd follow Amelia to wherever she went. She even got her boyfriend, Alexander, to help her. What the fuck is Alexander doing near the girl's dorms? To Amelia's concern, Aurora doesn't even attend LicRock, she's not aware.
Eventually, Aurora finds a way to creep into Amelia's dorm, mainly because Amelia made a mistake by leaving the door open. Alexander leaves because he can't be seen in a girl's room after visiting hours. Aurora steadily creeps around Amelia's dorm until she hears laughing. The laughing sounds so evil. Satanic, even. She follows the laughter and stumbles across Amelia...
