For hundreds of years the Darklings have been banished to the Inkbane Forest by powerful magic. The Kingdom of Light has grown and flourished, but so too have the Darkling cities... built in darkness. 

Then, one day, a Darkling Prince and his two servants step out of the forest and into the light. He finds himself in the capitol city and connects himself to the local underground. 

This is a compilation of short stories. Some will be like chapters building on s story while others will be at a separate point in time.

It is about a girl who is tormented by the town bully, but discovers that his cruelness comes from living with an abusive father. Just when she begins to see who he truly is, his father curses him with a seven year bear curse. Though he looks like a monster on the outside, does he have the strength to overcome his upbringing and the terrible curse, or will he become a monster on the inside as well?
