Mature
On a warm Northern Kentucky summer night, Isaac Gray, a compassionate yogi and competent martial artist, undergoes a frightening but magical experience. During a spontaneous bout of enlightenment, he has symbolic visions that the world will soon fall into darkness.

The next day, a mysterious terrorist organization mounts the largest coordinated attack ever seen. The attack destroys most forms of organization and government, blocks out the sun with a black gaseous cloud, and plagues the world with a black rain that turns humans into zombies-like creatures. Because Isaac is forewarned and the attack is centered on major metropolitan areas, he and his companions survive the assault.

In order to survive in this hellish landscape, Isaac, a once nonviolent person, is forced to step out of his tranquil lifestyle into the role of a hardened fighter and leader. Led by Isaac, he and his crew are forced to scavenge whatever materials they can find to stay alive against the "Infected".

Monday, August 1 Dear Isaac, if you're reading this, that means you've turned eighteen. Congratulations, I'm so proud of you. I hope you had a great day! But unfortunately, that also means I'm not there to celebrate with you, I'm so sorry about that. I never thought I'd have to write this journal, but here I am. You're probably very confused, and I don't blame you, but your father wouldn't be able to properly explain to you everything about yourself, And if I don't make it, which I fear I don't, and I probably didn't or you wouldn't be reading this, there's got to be some way for you to find out, So, let's begin ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- His friend forces him on a hunting trip, where instead of a monster he finds quite the opposite... or so he thinks. Soon things start to get confusing. What happens when a dark past gets revealed? And old acquaintances show up? What exactly happened to his mother? Strange people, strange events, and most prominently, strange feelings... Can he resist them and stay safe? Or will he fall for them and get pulled into all kinds of danger..? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [[Word Count: 115.000]]] [All original (besides some inspired scenes) please don't copy. Thank you :)] ⚠️!!WARNING: INCLUDES ADULT THEMES AND/OR SEXUAL CONTENT. !! ⚠️ THESE CHAPTERS HAVE A/C (Adult Content) AFTER THE TITLE AND A WARNING AT THE START

Travis, Darcie, Dawson, Tori, Leo, Levi, Kaylie, Hunter, and Anthony have no business knowing each other, let alone being a team. But during a zombie apocalypse, when you get desperate, you're desperate. When you're out of options, you need to do what you need to do to survive every day. Sometimes, it might not always be ideal. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete. Comments would be great to see so we know if something needs to be fixed or if it's a good story.
