Delilah Carter stays in the shadows at school. She's one of those girls that get "have a great summer!" written in her yearbook each year. She's a loner and she prefers it that way. Not that she has a choice. However, her general wish to be alone has struck the attention of one Peter Parker. One night, while patrolling, Peter swings by the old dance studio to see Delilah dancing as if nothing else mattered to her. And it was true, nothing else mattered to the broken girl other than the way her ballet slipper clad feet moved across the hardwood floor.
