Entretanto, mesmo após isolar-se, é impossível mandar em quem amamos. É impossível manter-se imune ao amor. Mesmo assim, após receber a declaração de Josie, ela fugiu... Fugiu e escondeu-se de todos os sentimentos, tentando controla-los. No entanto, "é impossível manter-se imune ao amor", finalmente, Hope aceita seus sentimentos e mergulha neles de corpo e alma.
