Nyx was said to be crazy. At a young age she would contact the dead, perform sacrifices and talk to the unseen. But she exclaimed it was "her". 

Her abnormal behaviour led her to be sent to a mental institution for the rest of her youth. Experiment after experiment she was later concluded that she was "fixed". 

However, as her release date looms messages begin to carve into her skin. 

Once released back into society she battles with assaults, accusations and the tiny voice whispering at the back of her skull. But the voice begins to scream when death looms. 

 A map begins to etch it's way deep into her skin. Leading to something or someone.

But she's not the only one who knows she bears the map.
