Dan, an anxious boy struggling to make it through school, is hanging on by a thread. His only salvation is his art and poetry. When invited to a beach party when he does someone's homework, he meets the cool calm and collected Phil Lester.

Phil and Dan keep meeting in random spots, getting to know each other more and more. And the more Dan knows about Phil, the more in love he falls.
