"Beware of Time.
For He always runs to the end, and seldom does he stop for the sinner and the King."
~ excerpt from "Rules of Mages", chapter 8, advice 9

Mages are considered to be evil, vile creatures, called "witches" and "warlocks". In the late 1700s, there lives a young mage of the name Rin Tohsaka, who summons an Archer to help fight and protect her from the humans. In this she encounters many trials, all of which reveals the pain of a masked lady.

Shall she and her Servant stand atop the world, or shall their fall be mightier than their climb?

Only Time will tell...
