Blue Scarlett has had enough. She's fed up with her becoming second best to her family and friends and is fed up of every waking moment of her school life being tormented by her peers but most importantly, herself. She's finally reached the stage where she feels as if her life is of no significance. Therefore in a final plea to end it all, Blue stumbles upon what looks like an attempted murder in the middle of the Forest. Terrified and disorientated she runs back home to avoid being brutally killed as well. Unfortunately Blue happens to attract possibly the most unwanted attention one could get from one of the most ruthless vampire of all times called Cain. And in Blue's case, a.k.a. murderer she stumbles on in the Forest. Upon attracting attention from Cain, Blue might want to wish she actually ended her life herself. Will Blue make it out alive? And if she does, can something like friendship or even love blossom in one of the most unlikely of places? Or will she herself fall a victim under Cain's never ending list of murder victims? Hunter

“Fuck,” I whisper, shutting my eyes and clunking my head to the door. “Where were you going, Scar?” Ace breathes, smirking like he’s been dying to do this all morning. Might as well not lie. “I was going to hot wire your car and drive back to California, grab all my cash, fly to Europe, live there for a couple weeks, and then drink myself to death.” His smirk drops. “That’s not funny.” “Never said it was.” A quiet moment drifts through as I lazily stare at him. “You’re serious?” “Yep.” Scarlett Hunter is only 19 and has already killed 65 vampires. It's drilled into her mind that vampires are bad, and they always will be. That is, until Ace Caplin decides to enter her world via her kitchen.
