Joel Smith is an expert psychologist who lives in Houston, Texas with his new family. He has just married a single mother with her young and only child, Timmy. Timmy is not used to his new life and his new stepdad. Joel, recognizing the disturbance in Timmy's behavior, decides to take a father son bonding trip to further enhance their relationship. But what happens when the plane malfunctions and they crash land on a remote island in the middle of the ocean inhabited by cannibals? Take a journey through The Forest with Joel and other survivors of the plane crash on their mission to rescue Timmy and get back to safety. (Based on the videogame)
