Warning: This is my own fanmade story- This is going to tie in with the Breath Of The Wild 2 Trailer- so none of this will make sense if you haven't watched that.
10,000 years ago, the Sheikah Tribe was making extraordinary technological advancements with their technology, however, they knew the resurrection of Ganon himself was quite near, so they needed to choose a hero to wield the darkness sealing sword, so that they may be victorious in their struggle with Ganon.
Another Warning: This is my own made up story- So please don't get pissy because it isn't directly related with the story line.

The Legend of Zelda: Blood and Spirit
The surface was supposed to be safe again with Demise defeated, however, its anything but. In the shadows of the uninhabited land lurk rebel Sheikah, who call themselves the Dark Interlopers, who plot against Hylia's human reincarnation, Zelda, and her loyal hero, Link, in secret, building up power to take them both down. Around the same time, Link and Zelda come across a land parallel to the surface, a strange country called Termina, protected by the goddess Terminus. Terminus begs them to help her subdue the mighty Fierce Deity, who was once the goddess's hero before he was corrupted by the demon Majora. Link fights the Deity and defeats him, but he is wounded in the battle and filled with the demon's corruption himself. As he and Zelda return to their own land, the hero slowly starts losing himself mentally and physically, ultimately putting Zelda's life in danger as he tries to fight against something he cannot control. To make matters worse, the Dark Interlopers soon launch a massive attack against the two of them, capturing Zelda and leaving Link for dead. He is found and saved by the mysterious Sheik, the leader of the Sheikah who are still loyal to Hylia. With both the surface and the sky in great danger, the hero must fight to save them and the goddess once more, all while fighting the corruption that he is falling ever deeper into. Post Skyward Sword. references Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess. Rated T for violence, blood, and other things. Involves HUGE amounts of ZeLink shipping. Botw Reimagined
This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. After sleeping for 100 years, Link seems to have lost all of his memories, especially the memories of his failure to protect those that he loved. of course, All rights to any known part of the game go to Nintendo please Nintendo, do not strike me down before I finish this series.

Aided those fated to be heroes by gifting them a power from birth. However this land is engulfed with shadows by a villainous foe, intent on ruining the peace and prosperity ruling over the land. The Elementals powers suddenly are not their own to give anymore, and sometimes it is gifted to evil. This cycle took root. A villain would rise, aided by the power of an Elemental, and then a hero gifted with the power of an elemental would also rise to face them. Set through trials to reach the Cave Of The Elements, to deem weither they are ready for the task. However along this millennia of repeated villains and heroes new tradition have been set in place for the Elementals. Traditions that restrain even addressing each other by name. And when Derik the Destroyer arises, conquering kingdoms and towns alike, they don't know if it can be stopped. Will the new chosen hero be enough? Or will fate gather together a band of worthy heroes and defy the Elementals 'sacred' tradition, to banish the shadows from their land? How will Sara, a normal teenager nearing adulthood, face this most fearsome foe?
