Warning: This is my own fanmade story- This is going to tie in with the Breath Of The Wild 2 Trailer- so none of this will make sense if you haven't watched that.
10,000 years ago, the Sheikah Tribe was making extraordinary technological advancements with their technology, however, they knew the resurrection of Ganon himself was quite near, so they needed to choose a hero to wield the darkness sealing sword, so that they may be victorious in their struggle with Ganon.
Another Warning: This is my own made up story- So please don't get pissy because it isn't directly related with the story line.

The Legend of Zelda: The Dark Agenda
Far in the future, Link and Ganondorf battle in broken world, a fusion of the 'child' and 'adult' timelines. Hyrule is ravaged and all inhabitants, even Ganon's minions, have abandoned their homes due to fear of Link and Ganon's conflict. A Demigod takes advantage of their weakened states and places power inhibitors on their necks, forcing Link and Ganon to work together. This is an old fanfic from 2014. However, the Demigod (his personality and goals) is my creation as well (ergo, also under the copyright) since he is a character that is from one of my novels. I know that my plot would essentially be a Zelda rip-off as it is, so I would not sell it on that basis. I have a copyright on the plot just in case, so no one can just randomly try to steal it without giving me proper compensation.)Complete

The Legend of Zelda: Blood and Spirit
The surface was supposed to be safe again with Demise defeated, however, its anything but. In the shadows of the uninhabited land lurk rebel Sheikah, who call themselves the Dark Interlopers, who plot against Hylia's human reincarnation, Zelda, and her loyal hero, Link, in secret, building up power to take them both down. Around the same time, Link and Zelda come across a land parallel to the surface, a strange country called Termina, protected by the goddess Terminus. Terminus begs them to help her subdue the mighty Fierce Deity, who was once the goddess's hero before he was corrupted by the demon Majora. Link fights the Deity and defeats him, but he is wounded in the battle and filled with the demon's corruption himself. As he and Zelda return to their own land, the hero slowly starts losing himself mentally and physically, ultimately putting Zelda's life in danger as he tries to fight against something he cannot control. To make matters worse, the Dark Interlopers soon launch a massive attack against the two of them, capturing Zelda and leaving Link for dead. He is found and saved by the mysterious Sheik, the leader of the Sheikah who are still loyal to Hylia. With both the surface and the sky in great danger, the hero must fight to save them and the goddess once more, all while fighting the corruption that he is falling ever deeper into.
