Gerard Way, a French artist, is returning to his hometown in the States for the sudden funeral of his late father.
Because of relationship issues, he won't be staying with his family. But the Ieros next door are fully welcoming of him staying in newly renovated basement until he returns to France.
Little does Gerard know, Mrs. Iero wants him to meet and fall in love with Lindsey, the "perfect cousin" of the family.
But little do Mr. and Mrs. Iero know, Gerard is falling in love with Frank, their outcast son.
