Xavier had always been drawn to trouble, he lived it and breathed it from the moment he was born. He always felt like he was fighting to survive, fighting against life itself. As if he it was a mistake he was alive at all.
Jason, his best friend, was the complete opposite. Life felt smooth, like coasting down a slow river. For Jason, life was so monotone it seemed like he didn't exist. He'd do anything just to feel like his existence mattered.
The two completed each other: Xavier felt at peace with Jason and Jason felt alive with Xavier. But how long could it last when their hostile home, aptly dubbed a concrete jungle, constantly clawed at their existence, trying to swallow them whole?
In jungles, there's only one rule: fight violence with violence. But is that the only way to survive?
