Emotions and feelings are like tiny gods inside of us. Everyone has them, and they often control our lives as they please. Sometimes, people manage to control these tiny gods, but most of the time, they control us and influence our choices and actions during our daily lives.  

This is a series of short stories on these tiny God's living inside us.

Once there was a time when he wanted the one controlling him to be proud, and even now he still told himself that lie. But in truth, he obeyed out of fear, and the monster born of his suppressed rage simmered below so far down he thought it lost. But the beast would not be so easily forgotten. "You will become a hero Minoru. Even if I have to make you into one myself." Sometimes the world has too many heroes. Sometimes . . . it needs a monster.

*COVER ART IS MY OWN ORIGINAL WORK* In this portfolio of short stories, I have 22 works, 63 pages, and 19,204 words. My stories are organized by emotional theme, beginning with one story about emotion in general, and then moving through stories expressing distractedness, frustration, argument, love, fear, grief, sadness, humor, innocence, and self-love. About a year ago, I discovered my love for the short story and decided to build a collection of shorter works. I'm so glad I did; the variety of plots, characters, and settings I got to explore taught me so much, and I am beyond pleased with what I have to share. I hope you enjoy reading these snapshots of the human experience as much as I did creating them.
