The leader of that family being whitebeard, and as he offers a oppertunity abord his ship, lines become blurred, and love entangles into the mess that is your life.
Author note: Thank you for taking the time to ready my selection of stories. I've had two concept for stories that has been playing in my mind for a while the first a Vinesmoke storry (inspired by the whole cake island ark) and the second being a Marco story. Both are random minnor character of one piece but I just thought the fitted with what I wanted to write. This is purley a new hobby as a distraction form my hectic life. As such I will try and update everyone 1-2 week but I'm trying to not make any promises also. While I do re-read and check my stories I'll apologise in advance for any spelling and grammar mistakes.

Marco wasn't Human. He was something different. Something you'd find in a fairy tale. Something that wasn't supposed to be real, only in legends and myths. He has to fit in with the humans. He has to study and learn how humans work. He has to explore the world to know what it's like and how things work in nature. He had so much to learn. Only one person knows about what he is and that's Edward Newgate, his captain, and his father. He hopes he can keep it that way. He doesn't need anyone to know what he really is. He'd be worth a lot if people found out what he was. Since he wants to fit in he has to come up with a reason why he has powers. When he learned about Devil Fruits and their powers, he came up with the excuse that he ate a devil fruit, the Tori Tori no Mi: model Phoenix. Though as he learned more about these devil fruits he had to pretend that he couldn't swim and seastone affected him when it was created not long after the fruits were made. He is a Phoenix. A creature no one needs to know is actually real. But when a certain freckled beauty showed up claiming to take his father's head, it was hard to keep his animalistic side of him in check. Basically, this is just a modern AU of One piece but in my AU. this isn't a One-shot tho, this is basically something I came up with while laying on my bed instead of sleeping like I was suppose to. This is basically an AU where all pirates in the original universe are criminals here, marines are the police obviously. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ace, Sabo, Luffy and Lora have always wanted freedom. Every time it is in their grasp, it slips past them and doesn't appear again in a while. Being assassin's for the infamous Blackbeard's was their job. Killing people since they were captured, trained until their bones broke, it's a never ending cycle they had to endure. For they knew what would happen if they slipped up. They never tried thinking of any type of escape plan, for every opportunity they had was quickly closed up. They thought they would stay in this corrupted operation forever, they really did. But their boss finally slipped up, bringing them to the one place they had placed all their hope in getting out. Summary for pt 1 Ace is suicidal. He doesn't think he should have been born. Him having the blood of a monster that runs through his veins. Family doesn't find out tell Ace comes home from a failed suicide attempt. When he sets out and finds Deuce, his first mate, he stops for a while.
