Stories, for the most part, have good main characters. If this were to be a good story, the main character couldn't be Alice Noble, since she thought herself too boring for that role. Nor could it be Harry Connolly, who had just barely survived a horrific car crash and was sent to the hospital right after.

But The Soldier from Harry's drawing. The drawing Harry gave Alice just before he entered that car only to get hurt in it later. Now, that character would make a great story, if Alice knew what she was doing. She could tell the story to Harry as she visits him in the hospital. And perhaps the magic in the story may heal him just as it heals her.

Everything is cringy and bad about this story, but I decided to complete this book since I got a lot of comments disappointed it was never finished.
