I had gotten away with a lot in the past few weeks. Two attractive girls successfully murdered along with a house pet to warn one of my targets she was not safe. I have not forgotten her, long black hair and beautiful blue eyes as well as a model figure. Don't think I have stopped with my plan, she is still on the list and her time will come. She was supposed to be my second victim however it seemed I made things too difficult for myself by sending these notes, with her boyfriend always on guard but he can't protect her forever. The police and security in this town were clearly useless, no evidence, no clues, nothing. I was hungry when I murdered Jess at her party and I was feeding my appetite.

You are probably questioning my motives by now, I can't revel that just yet but things will become clearer in time, after all the truth is out there. When I was younger I never expected to become what I had became now, it stemmed from the way I had been treated. See I have no remorse because people never had any for me, once I wore my disguise, I was hidden, well protected and nobody knew who I was excluding the party however I still had my killer instincts about me, you had to become the perfect murderer. I keep my personality different from when I'm the hunter to when I'm just plain old me. When I'm a killer, it's any means necessary but when I'm my plain, normal self then I'm just an ordinary high school student like everybody else. I had my reasons for what I did, some may say I take things too far however I don't see things that way, I see things in perspective to the way they should be.

Chelsea Broker was my next target unless somebody else got in my way first...

"Stop that." I jumped slightly as my eyes shot over to the familiar hulking form standing in the doorway of my bathroom. I always forget how tall Derek is until I'm standing right next to him. Or in this case in front of him. "Stop what?" my brows furrowed as I watched his reflection fully enter the room until he stood right behind me. His large hands rested on either side of me on the counter, trapping me between his arms. His chin hovered over my left shoulder as his forest eyes scanned my face in the mirror, his lips forming a small barely noticeable frown. But I noticed it. "Stop judging yourself." was his simple reply, but I know that something like that is easier said than done. "you're beautiful, red..." he leaned in further and I could feel his hard chest pressed against my back, making my insides do somersaults. "if you knew what I've done... the people I've hurt... you wouldn't think I was beautiful either..." ...... Alice Books has blood on her hands and doesn't believe she deserves a shot at redemption. A shot at love. Or a shot at life in general. What she did to have blood on her hands was out of self-defense and survival, but she doesn't see it that way and doubts she ever will... Until she meets the bad boy, Derek Wilder, who- underneath all the glares, tattoos, piercings, and leather jackets- is an absolute goofball. He sees Alice for all she's worth: Strong, beautiful, and not the cold-blooded murderer she likes to claim she is. He's determined to prove it to her no matter how long it takes- all the while fighting demons of his own. Will Alice continue to think she's the monster the voice in her head claims her to be? Or will Derek's demons ruin everything for everyone? ............... I will be uploading every MONDAY! ⚠️trigger warning⚠️ This story does contain ABUSE! so if that is something that you are not comfortable reading, I ask that you DO NOT READ! you have been warned...

Hey there folks, I'm Cody Phillips, welcome to New Orleans. N'awlins is known for many wonderful things, our coffee, music and the ability to throw a damn fine party. We're also known as the city most people believe may be one of the most haunted places in the world. Well, let me tell you this, we have more than our fair share. I know because I can see them. But, listen, don't spread that around. Yeah? It's been a closely guarded family secret my whole life. Not even my best friend knows this about me. See, I use my 'gift' in my work as a homicide detective with NOLA's finest boys in blue. Now, I understand why you might call it cheating, and that's fine. But I always catch the bad guy with the victim telling me everything I need to know and give the family involved closer. So it evens out as far as I can tell. Now just as my life is moving slower than a gator with a full belly, the worst happens. I get the call about a homicide that's hit too close to home. It leaves the girl of my dreams coming home to face tragedy. The moment I see her I find myself reminded of the one secret no one ever knew. Ever since I was eight years old I have felt many different things for Emma O'Neal, and those feelings haven't disappeared with time. Problem is now that she's come home; I find myself fighting not only an unknown assailant out for blood, my partner's misguided beliefs but my own need for the enticing beauty I'm duty sworn to protect. Damn, I just hope I'm able to fight the feelings I have for this woman, and stay focused on the case. Otherwise, I might end up losing something far more precious to me than the honor I've worked so hard for: Emma's life.

"Guys, I got another note," I say as I sit down at lunch. Vanessa and Xander were here but Hazel was missing. "Where's Hazel?" I question, eyeing her empty seat. "Out with Adam today, it's Friday," Xander says whilst I munch on my sandwich. "Did you say you got another note?" He asks and I hold my finger up and try to swallow my food as quickly I can so I can speak again. "Yeah, this one says, 'You look so beautiful in blue, I wish I could say this in person,' I really want to know who's playing this prank," I say and my eyes fall to the only prankster in Waterstone Academy, Sebastein. "I don't think it is Sebastien, he loves attention and this doesn't scream attention," Vanessa says as my eyes land on him. But my eyes move from Sebastien quickly to the hottest man in Waterstone, Vincent. He has been bugging me for a week, trying to talk to me and he even asked me to come to Logan's party on the weekend. My eyes must have been drilling holes into his face because he turns in my directions. I quickly turn back to Xander and Vanessa who were talking about their Art projects. "Okay, so if not Sebastien then who?" I voice my thoughts out loud. "Maybe you have a secret admirer," Xander says in all seriousness and I burst out laughing. My laugh attracts some attention because 1) it was loud, 2) I snorted. "Yeah right," I say once I sober up. *** A secret admirer. Everyone wishes they had one but not Amara. Her secret admirer has been torturing her ex-bullies and even though that's what she wanted before, now all she wants is for it to stop. She doesn't want anyone getting hurt because of her, she knows how that feels and she doesn't wish that on anyone. A hot boy and a secret admirer, Amara needs to figure out who her secret admirer before someone gets seriously hurt or even worse, killed.

"Stab, Twist, Kill." I've been trained to do the words above without hesitation. What am I? I'm an assassin. My stance in Old Salem has taught everything I know, from a simple, yet deadly kick, to more than a hundred ways to stab someone, and decimate them in seconds. I thought I knew everything, until HE appeared: "Darkfyre." Cold, sarcastic, and tough. The epitome of a quintessential assassin. His skills are impeccable, and his personality a mystery; no one would have suspected him of having a thrilling life, or at least I thought so until everything changed. All I wanted was answers. Wheres my father? What are they covering up? What is the mystery behind my bloodline? But now they are chasing us, hunting us down, and all we can do is run, and protect ourselves, while fighting to recover the freedom they dared wrench from us. We are few who are still loyal to each other, but to be realistic, no one can be trusted, not even our closest friends and allies. Family might even be the most dangerous of all. The way out of this quandary, is still a uncertain, and I fear I'm actually encased inside an endless game where I'm meant to lose my sanity and eventually die, but for now, I'm not giving up, I'm not giving them what they want, and I'm going to fight my way out, even if it means perishing in the process. I'm the daughter of Killian Grey and Elise Bronson; I'm Lilyth Bronson and this is just the beginning of my story. By Kiersten Bruce © Copyright 2023 by Kiersten Bruce - All rights reserved. "How do you feel now, Morgan?" She says, more pointing something out than asking a question. She grabs hold of my wrists and tightens them. If I could see properly I could swear I see them turn purple. "I could beat you to the bone, right here, right now, till you die from your injuries. But, I won't. You will die. Maybe not today, maybe not in a month, but you will." Well, obviously I'm going to die. Humans don't live forever. "Wonder why?" "No, and I really don't care." She answers anyway. "Because we have the power, the people, and the weapons to do it. Face it, you're defenseless against us." I feel some blood flooding my mouth, so I, being a perfectly nice person, spit it in her face. That doesn't faze her at all. "I have the strength and intelligence, something you clearly don't have. Whatever y'all do to me, it won't break me. I will put up a hell of a fight before losing. I will fight, and I will win." I turn over and look at her fellow companions. "Even if I die doing it." "Is that a risk you're willing to take?" ____________________________________ 17 year old Morgan Peters is an average girl living life.
