Keep Your Enemies Closer
*COMPLETED* "You think I'd murder you?" He laughed humorlessly. "I- what?" I stuttered, looking at him with a lost expression. If he didn't want to kill me, what was all of this then? "What's your name, speedy?" He asked after shaking his head. "Why would I-I tell you my name?" I tried to sound brave, but this whole scenario was just freaking me out. "I'll find out, eh?" He gave me a smirk. What? "For what? You can just kill me now. I don't want to live like this anymore." I breathed out. I really don't. His loud and obnoxious laugh pulled me out of my thoughts. What's so funny? "You're funny. But-" He took a step closer and I immediately stepped backwards. I Fell in Love with a Bad Boy
CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. Love with strings detached
I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people. I bring one hand up to my hair flicking them to the other side, trailing that hand down to my sternum and then my boob as I keep swaying my hips from to side, bending my knees as I lower myself a bit to the ground before sharply standing up again and slowly spinning around, circling my hips. I run my hands through the back of my hair before nailing my gaze on his eyes, slowly walking up to him. I watch him as he wets his lips before biting his plumb bottom one, eyes trailing up my body. Once I reach him, I wrap my arms around his neck and run my fingers through his hair as I press my body up against his. His hands shoot out to grab me from my lower waist, pulling me even closer to him as he pushes a leg between mine, staring into my eyes. I turn my head to the side and brush my lips against his ear before licking and biting his earlobe the same way I did at the party before whispering a few words he was dying to hear. Life is full of surprises! Especially in high school, where love can come from unexpected places... This is my story (well, part of it, anyway). It's a story about growing up in a small town, about the friends I made and the friends I lost, and the events (both legal and illegal) that shaped me into the person I am today. This is a true story; naturally, some parts have been embellished, had names altered to protect the "innocent," and some incidents have otherwise been fabricated entirely. And there I stood, with my mouth wide open, my hands shaking, and my legs frozen. My boss looks up from his victim that is laying dead at his feet before wiping his bloodied hands on his shirt. As he saunters over to me, with a devilish hint in his eyes, all I could think about was how freaking pissed I was for my own body betraying my mind when it told me to run. I take a deep breath and close my eyes as he reaches his red stained hands towards my face, knowing this could be my last moment on Earth. "Why the hell won't you just admit it?!" I yelled at him. "Admit what?!" He asked. "The REAL reason why you don't want to be with me! "You think I don't want to be with you because I'm too embarrassed because of how big you are or that your white? You really think I could give two shits as to what anyone including my friends think about us? Well I don't. I could give two shits about what anyone thinks! So stop fucking assuming you know me or what I'm thinking cause you don't!" He fires back at me. "Well then what is it then huh?" I asked. "You wouldn't understand. But do me a favor and stop pretending that you know me when you don't." He says.
