"You are staring again." He commented, his voice neutral.
Eden swallowed, biting her lip anxiously, "And you are shirtless." She replied, her voice equally as monotone.
"Aye, I am." He nodded, "But that is not why you stare."
"I do not stare with pity if that is what you are suggesting." She quipped, "I have seen enough pity in my life I would never put that upon anyone else."
"Yet still you stare." His green eyes appeared to sparkle as his lips curled into a knowing smirk, "You may not know why little flower, but you are staring all the same."
