Star Wars: The Lord in Exile
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... It is an era of oppression in the galaxy. For years, the evil Galactic Empire has conquered and subjugated countless peaceful worlds but as their tyranny spreads across the galaxy, brave men and women rise up to rebel against the darkness. On the distant planet of Lothal, imperial forces have controlled and oppressed the innocent people of this once quiet planet to fuel their factories. With the noble Jedi Order all but destroyed, there is little hope for the citizens of Lothal to know freedom once again. A small rebel unit, known as The Spectres have arrived to aid the planet and fight the Empire. Amongst this crew is young man by the name of Aurelian fights alongside his friends against tyranny as he begins to awaken his true powers and reshape the galaxy... (You will find a lot of 40k influence in this story, to the point it might be a crossover in some respects. Nothing crazy, so no Space Marines, demons, or the like will show up. Lesia Mirri never wanted to be a Jedi. The rules of the Code didn't sit well with her restless spirit. Lesia resisted their teachings and attempted to close herself off from the Force. In a final attempt to teach her, the Jedi Council assigned her to Master Ki Adi Mundi. During the final months of the Clone Wars, Lesia found herself growing close to her master and she became more open to what he had to say. When the Purge disrupted life as she had known it, Lesia was thrown headfirst into a lawless galaxy. Armed only with the little knowledge she'd bothered to learn, Lesia struggles to make a way for herself. Once, she had shunned the Jedi. Now, the galaxy needs them, needs her, more than ever. The way of the Mandalore is not an easy path to follow, but it is all Nakoa Sen has ever known. As a child, he found himself being raised by a Mandalorian covert, one of the first who called themselves Children of the Watch. Nakoa later chose to venture into the galaxy as a bounty hunter, to provide for his new Clan. He stumbles across Lesia Mirri and eventually recruits her help for a mission. He quickly learns that while he devoutly follows his code, there are others who abhor rules of any kind. Nakoa soon finds himself wondering if he truly knows what path he wants to follow, and if he can actually break the code that his people hold so dear. Warning This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. Ezra is a young street rat from the planet Lothal. One day, he steals crates from a crew trying to take them from the Empire. He ends up on the crew's ship, the Ghost. They are trying to rescue wookies, but the mission goes wrong. The captain, Hera sends Ezra to warn Kanan, Zeb, Sabine, and Chopper. They all successfully make it out, except for Ezra. Zeb leaves him behind and the crew never comes back for him. Ezra manages to escape on his own, but his trust in people no longer exists. Some time later, Ezra meets up with the crew yet again. (So this story is from Spark of Rebellion, but the crew doesn't go back for Ezra.)

Ryn Alera has only known slavery throughout her life. The last place she expected to find help was with the Empire. When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom. When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. She wasn't born a fighter, but if the galaxy's freedom requires it, she will be a soldier. However, when the Commander Hotshot comes to realize that she had blindly been following orders almost her entire life, everything changes. Her eyes are opened to the evil of the malevolent Empire and she becomes aware of what this new war is truly about, and whose side she should really be on.
