Lime Colored Strings

Aspen stared down at the lime colored strings tied around his middle right finger. Red strings of Fate were supposed to be red, it was in the name, so why wasn't his? He knew the fact that he had multiple strings usually meant a person was polyamorous, which made him feel confused, he couldn't imagine himself dating one person, let alone three.
