Oliver Queen is in love with Kara Danvers. He plans to tell her during dinner, but things don't go as planned: she breaks the news that she's now in a relationship with a man named Winn Schott. He blows off steam by spending the rest of the night as the infamous vigilante, the 'Arrow', but again- things don't go as planned. As he beats up another thug on the streets, cops arrive to the scene and out of a moment of weakness and fear of his identity being revealed, he quickly changes out of his suit and gear to be portrayed as his normal, civilian, billionaire playboy self, Oliver Queen. As he waits for his former step-father Walter Steele to use the Queen's foundation money to bail him out of jail, he meets someone that changes his life forever.
