How would you react if one day you go to your front door and find a package? A huge package. You'd probably think it's a prank, right? Well, you'd think it was a prank if just last week you received another giant package that contained a wild man-eating animal (courtesy of Axel) at least. But what if this time it wasn't an animal out to tear you apart? What if it was a child? A child that begins thinking you're her parent? Well then, let's just say, life at The Castle That Never Was may never be the same.

We all have those weird dreams where we fight dragons, dream of a 'happily ever after'...or in my cousin Alice's case; make friends with a unicorn that literally poops edible rainbow candy. Alice and I, along with our friend Zero, help my aunt and uncle clear out their basement during spring break while they went away for their wedding anniversary. It all started when I ever so gracefully (but accidentally) tripped over a cupboard box (which in my defence, I never knew was there) with the words: 'Fragile - DO NOT TOUCH', written in black marker all over the box. While Alice and I were arguing, Zero tried to grab our attention. When he finally did, we were surprised to see him being sucked into a freakin' green swirling portal! Turns out, inside the box I tripped over had a crystal ball rolled out of it, and glowed a bright green. That was when we realised that that crystal ball, was the reason why a portal appeared and was trying to pull us in. And of course...I got separated from them, didn't I?
