People don't get a say in this world, wether they like it or not. They're put here for no reason at all and then solemnly forced to do something creative, or worth life. We all have a story. Here's mine.

Romance was never my thing, neither was good grades or my real parents, but things can change...right? Meeting a certain someone up close and personal, dancing with the curtains open all led to one little something I didn't know existed.

Love.

A story where people happen upon a friendship that can flourish into a budding romance if only.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He smiled that sickly innocent and genuine smile again. He was about to say something but I cut him off. "And if you so much as make my friend cry, I'll give you a black eye myself. Don't even think about breaking her heart... you will be a dead man." With that I got up. A dramatic exit was in order to show him just how serious I was. But hey! It's me. I don't get what I wish for and I ended up tripping on the carpet end, just as I was about to get to the door. So much for that. And just like the last time I fell, my face didn't get to keep its appointment with the floor. His arm was wrapped around my stomach and he pulled me hard against his chest. So hard that I managed to hit him and we ended up falling on the sofa together. Now isn't that a nice and compromising position you got yourself in? This can't get any worse. I tried getting up but I just ended up turning into him and found my face inches from his. He looked at me. He looked good and my hormones decided it was time to end a dry spell and started dancing about inside me. Wrong timing muthafvckers. Of course they didn't listen. I found myself wanting to kiss him. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sia Williams never expected anything out of the ordinary from life. A student with her gang just living life as it comes without any drama. But all of that changes when she meets Lorenzo Carter and Skye Addison. The new additions to her life bring drama, adventure and romance... and the best part of all, they make her boring love life not so boring anymore. But not all romances end how you expect them to.

The Summer of Absolutely Nothing

17 partes Concluida

It's summer - the end of my first year of college. And I am home again, more than a little worse for the wear. College hadn't gone how I had expected it to go. After two years of the grind to get in, I thought I would find the kind of magic I saw in American high school movies, which I had been denied of in school - late nights, parties, wild adventures with whacky best friends, romance.... everything one is told is supposed to happen in one's teenage years. After two years of watching my classmates grow up and enter this world, I thought it was my turn, now. I thought my college life would be like a coming-of-age movie. But in reality? It wouldn't make a good story, of any kind - not even a sad one. The only thing I found were shiftless friends, stifling academic pressure and heartbreak. So now I was home - a little bruised, a little broken. A few dreams in shards around my feet. Turns out, I needn't have worried. The summer that followed changed my life. The summer of - after a hectic, stressful year - nothing at all. Nothing, and yet - everything.
