Contingency, a word that basically means, what are the chances?
That is the question you should be asking yourself, what are the chances?
What are the chances that The Trap Guard is in need of members? and they find a peasant with a bear? What are the chances that they find a princess with love issues? A ninja who craves an adventure? A potion brewer? Or a draconian who can't control his other side?
What are the chances?
Well, I guess you're gonna have to read and find out for yourself...

Awakening - The Last Science #1
No one ever knows the whole story... Nestled deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, something is emerging. Kept in absolute secrecy, it seeps into a fading town, quietly shared from person to person. For Alden Bensen, a directionless high school graduate, this discovery could mean an escape from his empty existence. To Rachel DuValle, perpetually underestimated and dismissed by the world, magic represents a chance to become something much greater than herself. In the face of an unsuspecting world, their decisions shape the growth of a budding society discovering untold power. This potent force offers anyone the power to change humanity forever - or send it cascading into swift and total annihilation. ----- The Last Science is an ongoing science-fiction / low-fantasy web novel series. He has always wanted her to be his, but she was a powerful elemental user who wanted an equally powerful partner. No one knew of Victor's status, not even Julie. She friendzones him, and uses him to ensure she is ready for her multitude of dates. One incident broke the last straw Victor held on to. Competing in the annual magic tournament, he intends to win. Winning means that the most powerful witch alive would grant one single wish. A no limit wish. A wish that will be granted. When he reveals himself through the competition, he gains a new reputation. A reputation the popular could be jealous of. When it is time to claim his wish. The wish chosen, shocks the entire magical community. A wish that needs to be granted. A wish that would forever shift the balance of power. The Super Squad (Discontinued)
There are a million possibilities. Possibilities that we don't get to travel. Possibilities that we don't get to see. Possibilities that can cause even the smallest changes. My possibility, well, let's just say that gifted teenagers, biological experimentation, mutants from another world and worldwide panic are a part of it and it's up to me and my friends to save it. I am no longer writing in this story, I became unhappy with how it came out but I am rewriting it because I fell in love with the idea so much so if you are new or recurring I ask you to read the new version I have coming out. Hope you all enjoy!!Complete
