"I jogged faster. He started to jog himself. Okay, now I was getting freaked out. I kept turning back, perspiration running down me. Every time I spun back, he was getting closer and closer and that's when I ran for it. Panic rushed through my veins, my pulse beating hard. Glancing back I saw him started to run.

My throat was desperate, my stomach in real pain but I refused to stop. I looked back again and he was gone. I turned back around and-"

Mariana known as Mari (pronounced as Maw-Ree) is your typical teenage girl. She goes to a school, she's well known for: her sarcasm, stubbornness, down-to-earth personality, gullibleness, her hatred towards anybody-who-gets-on-her-nerves, her kindness, her green glass-like eyes and beauty. She has friends and enemies. She lives for memories and tries her best not to live for dramas. So what? She's a normal seventeen year old girl. -That's what she thinks.

Raised and trained to be the best she can be, she soon becomes a target. But for who?

Attempted poison. Attempted kidnapping. Attempted murder. She's lived through all of that. But why?
