"C'mon boy!" A young blonde boy shouted as he ran across the snow. A high pitched barking noise came from behind him as he ran.

A small Husky puppy had been running after the boy. The puppy jumped and tackled the boy into the snow. The puppy then began to rapidly lick the Boy's face.

The boy laughed happily as the dog licked him. He then rolled over and hugged the dog tightly as he smiled at his mom.

His mother had a camera in her hand and smiled at her son and their puppy, "Say cheese!"

The boy smiled happily as his mother snapped a photo of them. "I love you Blue!" the boy said as he hugged the puppy more.

{Completed - #12 highest} I was walking on a path all alone at midnight. I was just wondering around, until I saw a guy in a hoodie. He was beating the pulp out of another guy and one more man was on the ground, he was not moving. I gasped. 'Is he dead?' Or he can be unconscious, yeah 'el' he is just unconscious not dead. Duh! Who would kill a guy? As I was proceeding with my thoughts, that hoodie guy turned his face towards me. My heart had a mini heart attack. I turned my heels to the opposite direction and started to run. 'Run Ella, run for your life' was what my mind was screaming to me. I took turns without thinking, that guy was now following me and guess what? I took a wrong turn and which ended up being a dead end ' You are so dead' I thought. So, I started to think what I said last time to the people I love. 'Good night mom, love you.' to my mom, 'Stop annoying me! I'm going to bed.' to dad which also mean I love you, 'See you later Lu, love you!' to Luana. Okay my good bye says I love them all. Now I can die in peace. Granddad I'll meet you soon in the heaven, if you are there. I was still in my deep thoughts until I saw his silhouette. As, he get closer, my heart begin to race faster. I closed my eyes, until I heard him say "Ella?" O to the M to the G, this person actually knows me. I opened my one eye and saw him due to the small light hanging in that ally "Errrrr'ick!" I squeaked and mentally face palmed myself. Even at this state I'm calling him Errr'ick. "I'm sorry your highness, what can I do for you?" I squeaked again while trembling. The next second I heard his fits of laughter. He was rolling on the floor, actually rofling. I was glaring at him but I realised that I'm not in a position to glare. So, I made puppy dog face for him to spare my little life. He stopped but after seeing my face, he started to laugh again. He tried to say between his guffaws "You..... your face .....was epiccc!" He started to gasp for air and had tears in his eyes.

Torrents of rain pelted down onto the colourfully lit city. The city lights were on and people walked hurriedly through the rain. Cars whizzed past to get home before rush hour. The lamps lit the streets strongly through the rain creating a nice warm atmosphere in the cold weather. Umbrellas bobbed over people's heads, trying to avoid hitting other people in the big crowds. The city buzzed with late night activity amidst the pouring rain. The whole place looked lively, even in the rain. But somewhere behind the wet houses and in the dirtiest part of the city, in a muddy, grimy alleyway, a little dog lay shivering on the cold wet floor. Soon, he was lying on a puddle of water, the open bins on each side of him were getting flooded and garbage started to fall out. An old lamp dimly lit the small garbage alley. It soon fizzled out and all went dark. Still, the dog lay there on the floor. Fire Stairs from the side of the house led down to the alley but no one used it unless they needed to throw things away. The garbage truck almost never came to this street and even less to the alley leaving it with a strong horrid smell and overflowing garbage bins. Suddenly, the small dirty window at the top of the fire stair lit up faintly. The door knob was turned and a grubby little boy was pushed out pouting. The door slammed shut behind him. The little boy crossed his arms and stood still under the strong rain. He scrunched his eyes up and realised it was a bedraggled dog.

Tears rush down to my cheeks and splatter on the wood floor of Danny's university apartment. He has an imprint on his face from the creases in his pillow and keeps blinking and rubbing his eyes. I sit on the edge of his bed and his hand rests on my knee. He's crouched in front of me in a pair of basketball shorts. "I don't know why I did it." I hiccup. "I should've just said no!" I take a shaky breath, my chest moving erratically. "And t-they all saw me freak out!" Danny's fingertips skate up and down my thigh and he doesn't say anything. "I mean, who wants to be with somebody like me? I can't even handle a sip! Y-you should just go and find somebody who can handle herself! You deserve better than me!" "Don't say that." He murmurs, raising my hand to his lips. He kisses each one of my knuckles with love and care, and then he looks up at me and smiles softly. "I choose you. No matter what the circumstance, no matter who comes along, I pick you. I'm here for you and I'm here with you. I'm fighting for you and I'm fighting with you. I love you. I don't care if you have to stay up all night to cry. I'll stay up with you. There is nothing you can do to make me love you any less, and there is nothing you can do to make me leave. I'm here, right here, forever." "Hi, I'm looking for a dog." Mark told the lady at the counter of the animal shelter. "I'll show you our selection." The woman smiled kindly as she guided Mark to the back. Mark's eyes scanned the many good dogs, listening to their barks while feeling his heart break at the sight. He walked past many breeds such as German Shepherds, mutts, and evens few poodles before he eventually reached the end with no dog in mind that he wanted. Until a new one came in. "I found her abandoned in a home that the owners had moved out of awhile ago, and she put up a hell of a fight to stay and wait for the owners to return. She's really sick too, as well as dehydrated and malnourished." A man spoke in a rush as he barged in holding a lump of fur in his hands. Mark could see the dirty white-blonde fur on the dog slowly rise up and down with each breath it took, her large, sad chocolate brown eyes looking into Mark's own eyes with a mournful look that made Mark want to hug the puppy and never let go. She let out a whimper before she lowered her head and closed her eyes, making tears well up in Mark's eyes. "That's the dog I want." Mark decided aloud. "A-are you sure? We have plenty of other dogs-" "She's perfect." Mark interrupted. The man exchanged glances with the woman before gently handing the puppy over. "What's her name?" Mark asked softly as he watched the puppy lick his fingers with a small smile. "Sephora according to the rope the owners tied to her before leaving." The man stated as he pulled out a tattered piece of rope with her name burnt onto it. "Sephora...like the makeup. How about Chica?" Mark whispered to the puppy. Chica let out a soft yip as she curled into a tighter ball in Mark's hand. "Chica it is." Mark chuckled, delicately running a finger down her soft back. "You're a good dog." Mark told her as he walked towards the exit. "You'll always be my good dog." Mark promised her.

The dog that turned wolf

30 parts Complete

This story is about a dog who was abused and ran away, she found her way into a wolf pack where the Alpha of the pack took interest in her. All she wanted was a family and someone to love her, and thankfully the Alpha and his pack found it in their heart to love her the way that she deserved. "Are you going to ignore me the whole way back?" Night asked walking silently behind me, funny how the tables have turned. "You'd have to try to talk to me in order for me to ignore you" I say matter of factly. I heard a small scoff come from behind me. What the hell was his problem? He's the one that was ignoring me and now that I'm not trying to talk to him, I'm ignoring him? I stopped in my tracks and turned around. Night had to roughly stop so he wouldn't run into me. "Talk" I say curling my tail around my legs, he just blinked at me "about?" He asked. I glared at him "you wanted to talk, let's talk" he didn't say anything. What the hell? Now all of a sudden he doesn't want to talk? I stood back up and started walking back, a Sigh was heard behind me but i kept walking. There was no point in trying to strike a conversation with night. Neither one of us knew what to say, and honestly I enjoyed the silence. It gave me time to think about everything. Follow the dog who was later named Alaska through her story. Will she be happy? Will Charlie her human leave her alone? Is she safe? Find out...
