The day before Virgil became ten, he and his mom moved to a different region, turning Virgil's world upside down, tossing possible plans he had out the window, not that he had any.

His mother said it was a great thing, as he could become a trainer and enter the league, unlike in their home region of Alola, but Virgil isn't sure if that's what he wants. To be honest, he never knew what he wanted to become in life, but one thing was for certain: he did NOT want to be a trainer.

While he goes on an adventure of self-discovery, he'll meet new friends, form unbreakable bonds, and learn from crazy experiences. But one thing remains the same...

What was he meant to be?

(A.K.A., the fic where almost all the chapters are based solely on Virgil)

♥ C O M P L E T E D ♥ * Written long, long before Deceit's name reveal! Please bear with me. I would love to change each of the names but there are simply too many chapters and I have written too many books, and I already need to change the name in nearly finished drafts of mine since they'll be published later than the reveal. ⚠️ WARNING: Contains EXTREMELY dark themes such as death, self harm, suicide, violence, toxic relationships, etc. Stay safe! ⚠️ NOTE: Don't read the bonus chapters before finishing the actual story there are spOILERS Imagine reading a book of every conversation where people have spoken about you. You see, everyone in the mind has a special item. Logan has special glasses that can let him see through walls. Roman has a sword with engravings of roses that allow him to sense any danger near him. Patton has a heart pin that he can tap and he can become invisible. But Virgil? He has the worst item. It's a book. A book filled with every single conversation anyone's had about him. Nobody knows about his item, because he hides in in fear of that, if anyone finds out what it does, they'll fake everything they say about him and begin to avoid him completely. The book is filled with things he'd rather not read, but he can't help himself from rereading and rereading and rereading, as the book gets thicker and thicker. ♥ Highest Ranks ♥ #1 in Prinxiety #1 in Logicality #1 in Thomassanders #129 in Fanfiction

The Trickster's Test {Prinxiety}

36 parts Complete

A game. That's what it was, or what it was supposed to be. It's become bigger than that, and they all know it. The royals all participate in the game, unknowingly or not, and they are all strictly aware that one wrong move will lead to their demise. The figurative name of the game is lying and deception. Cheating is practically a requirement; those who play fair never win. Virgil Lancaster remained blissfully unaware of this game's existence until the night of the Sunstrix Gala. Will he become yet another victim of the Trickster's Test, or will his new knight keep him from losing himself? **I do not own the characters of Sanders Sides nor the art used for the cover** **TW (individual triggers provided in chapters except swearing): Lil bit of violence, lil bit of alcohol (no bad actions associated with it just general drinking, not main characters), mentions of death/grieving, some toxic family stuff (also not main characters)
