And because of this many towns, cities and countries have stuck by one tradition. The one tradition that prevents well... the end of everything. 
At the age of 18 each young adult is given the BITE and how your body reacts with it determines your side.

My names Constance however, many people call me Connie and yeah I know it's old fashioned but I quite like it. It's Latin and means constant, stability - this reminds me that how hard my life is at one point I will get through it and I will carry on. I will need this mindset soon more than ever, as it is only one moth away from my 18th birthday.

17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body. As soon as I get to the woods near the lake I have come to know and love, ducks are floating in the middle looking for something to eat.
