When Mineta gets pulled from 1-A Shinso comes and takes his place in the hero course. This was everything Shinso could dream of, he could finally get the proper training to become a hero.
Kaminari was okay with this change since he had overheard one time how badly Shinso wanted to be a hero. Everything changed for the two of them when Kaminari had been walking through the dorm halls and heard crying.
Kaminari ,being the curious cat he is, walked by each dork attempting to find who it was. The closer he got to Shinso's room the louder the weeps got. Kaminari pressed his ear against the door. That confirmed his theory..

Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. Denki Kaminari is a student at UA high school, a school for aspiring heroes and the students there are very hardworking. However, despite getting into UA, everyone sees Denki as a bit stupid, his quirk doesn't help when he goes brain dead either. He hides behind a fake smile and laughs off all of their comments and stupid remarks, but they really hurt him. Aizawa sensei is like a father figure for Kaminari, his home life isn't great, so he sees Aizawa as more of a parental figure. This is good and all, but if he disappoints aizawa, he has a full on mental breakdown, because he's disappointed the one person he sees is there for him as a parental figure. However, it's the same with his friends, if he let's them down, he gets afraid they'll leave him and forget about him, so he has a breakdown because of that.
