A Broken Girls Mind

This story is about the journey of a woman who journeyed through her life feeling like a shadow or better yet a background character in her own life. A woman who never quite learned how to love herself. A woman who sparked a conversation with ease. A woman who couldn't see the power her stare, her laugh, or her smile had on the people in her life. A woman who contemplated her purpose in life. No one truly knows what someone else is going through because despite our best efforts no one truly opens up to anyone. It would seem as though Delanie lived a seemingly normal life. She was married to the love of her life, had four beautiful children, lived in the house of her dreams, and worked as a teacher. From an outsiders point of view she had everything she could ever want. So why was she unhappy many may wonder. Well it is never as simple as having everything, sometimes you simply feel as though you're missing a piece of your soul that has been left unfulfilled. She spent her whole life searching for something that she didn't even know she needed.
