The rebellion succeeded, the Capitol had fallen and Snow and Coin are dead. Peace had fallen over Panem, but not for long. President Snow's granddaughter was back with a cold, evil vengeance. The rebellion succeeded, bringing back tyranny to Panem. 125 years on, the 8'th Quarter Quell is happening.
As each Quarter Quell happens, the rules get harder and harsher. Four tributes from each district will compete, of which only two are reaped. These two tributes have to pick a random 10 year old of the opposite gender to accompany them into the arena, the youngest contestants in history. This shows, that no matter how old you are, no mercy will be shown by the Capitol.
Apollo is a 15 year old boy from District 7. When he is reaped for the games, his life is ripped apart. Things get a lot worse for him when his brother his reaped and another tragic event happens. His life is destroyed in a single week.

The 136th Hunger Games
When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Not to mention, the thought of killing somebody twists her stomach into all sorts of unnatural shapes. Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. However, as she navigates through the opulent world of the Capitol, and then the arena itself, Kira starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the dead she should pity, but the Victor. After all, no one ever really wins the Hunger Games. Survives, sure. But wins? Never. ~~+~~ Please Note: This is set in a world where the 2nd Rebellion failed. All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. What if the rebellion failed, the hunger games continued? These are the 150th annual hunger games! To remind the citizens of the failed rebellion the Capitol decided to hide ruins in the arena. Vivus Redis, a seventeen year old boy from district 13, is being reaped. Will he survive and see his best friend and family again? Or will he die a horrible death in the arena? And what's up with all these mockingjay symbols? "Why?!", yells Res as she enters the room. "I told you to not do that! I told you that over and over again!" Tears start rolling down her face again, washing away dust and dirt. I don't know what to say, it's like I don't have a voice anymore, so I just stand up and go to her. She shuffled and mix and when she pulled her hand out one accidentally fell from the bowl. She bent over and picked it up. "I oppose this is our card fate has chosen." She slowly opened the card. I could feel my heart pounding against my rib cage. it threatened to jump for my body and run away, just like I want to do right now. "And our district one tribute for the females is... Akiria Cordella." I slowly made my way through the crowed and into the isle having to peel my own hand away from my best friend. Every step felt like my legs where made of iron. I ascended the steps to meet Cachinn. "Hello dear." She motioned me to stand behind her. Cachinn returned to the mic with the male's tribute name. "And our male tribute for district one is... Enzo liner." Not my best friend! -- This was it. Their names where drawn for the sacrifice. Panem needs an example and they are it. Brother and sister in the fight to death as punishment for something their father did. A band of kids fight to the death in order to survive. Only one must exit but at what cost. At what cost would they risk everything to save two? This is the 73rd hunger games. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Adilade Cruise was a young girl from district six. She won the 73 annual Hunger Games. She won because the other tribute from six killed him self so she could win in peace. Little did she know that everyone now hates her. She's been living in a jail cell in the capitol and only eats once a week. Her life isn't very good.
