The rebellion succeeded, the Capitol had fallen and Snow and Coin are dead. Peace had fallen over Panem, but not for long. President Snow's granddaughter was back with a cold, evil vengeance. The rebellion succeeded, bringing back tyranny to Panem. 125 years on, the 8'th Quarter Quell is happening.

As each Quarter Quell happens, the rules get harder and harsher. Four tributes from each district will compete, of which only two are reaped. These two tributes have to pick a random 10 year old of the opposite gender to accompany them into the arena, the youngest contestants in history. This shows, that no matter how old you are, no mercy will be shown by the Capitol.

Apollo is a 15 year old boy from District 7. When he is reaped for the games, his life is ripped apart. Things get a lot worse for him when his brother his reaped and another tragic event happens. His life is destroyed in a single week.
