Yuèhai-known as Yue to loved ones, is a wandering soul. Born long ago when the sun kissed the horizon and birthed the moon, Yue has seen the rise and fall of many civilizations and acts as a leader to the gods.
In the ancient times, the gods came down from the heavens, every 500 years, in order to have counsel with mankind.Yet as the ages waged on, the faith in the ways of old were diminishing and gods began fading away. Now in the 21st century Yuèhai spends her time in the middle realm with the mortals, indulging in their secular world while watching over the leftover descendants of the gods.
While away in Asia for a routine check-in with some divine legacies, Yue gets a call from one of her charges-Charlie Swan, about the irregular behavior of his only daughter Bella Swan. Deciding to investigate, Yue travels to Forks, Washington. However, Yue lands herself in the middle of a low budget teen soap opera-supernatural style. With whispers of a potential divine war, dealing with emotionally constipated teenagers, and love lorn supernaturals, Yue tries very hard not to pull her hair out.
