You are a citizen of the Fire Nation. However, your parents raised you very differently from other children. You were raised to value all life, even those of the other nations.
After your mother was killed at the hands of the fire nation army for earth bending, and your father did not return from battle, you decided to turn your back on your people.
Once you witnessed the cruelty of the Fire Nation firsthand, you declared yourself a rogue, and set out on your own with a mission to find the Avatar, avenge your parents, and end the reign of the Fire Lord once and for all.

Meanwhile, another man's family is also torn apart. Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation carries the weight of his own burning world on his shoulders every day. To cope, he takes his anger out on others while shouldering this burden alone.
Will you be able to rescue this burning man?
(This story will start from the beginning of Zuko's journey, on a ship in the middle of the sea with his man ponytail. It will progress along his storyline, but of course with some changes to include you! And to make it a fanfiction. There will also be more... violent scenes. Just a warning.)

Raised in the heart of the Fire Nation, she grows close to the young crown prince and accompanies him and Iroh on their adventures. ________________________________________________________________________________ **This is an old story I had written in my head years ago when the series was still on Nickelodeon, and most of what I had originally written out was dialogue, so I apologize for any lack of detail or imagery-I don't have much time to devote to it as I'd like. I've read quite a few fanfic stories out there and this one isn't very good in comparison, but I'll post it for others who might find it entertaining--it was certainly entertaining to write. Also, I understand a lot of readers don't like stories that follow canon. This one does follow the show for the most part, but eventually digresses, follows, and digresses again. But she's not a cruel woman, so she found a wet nurse and let the other woman raise her. Well, that was the plan until for a whole day straight the baby girl wouldn't and couldn't stop crying. Even Ozai heard it and came to yell at Ursa for failing as a mother. When the child had finally shutten up, Ozai turned to see the young guard gently holding the baby.
