Mature
Alyvia Moore prides herself on being a 24 year old does-not-know-it-all. She might be a drunk, and for a long time, she was fully functioning. Life has a funny way of catching up to you, though, and while she learns to navigate her feelings and how to process unrequited love, she has to learn how to let go. Let go of her past, let go of her exes, her expectations, but most of all, her drinking habits.
So far, life isn't what she thought it would be - and once she settles into that, it's only up from there. It's a matter of realizing that rock bottom is a starting point, and it's up to her how she's going to get to the top - if she gets there at all.

"I want to capture this moment and save it forever." He looked at her, watching the way her cheeks flushed a deep red as he brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "You're breathtaking. You have no idea how gorgeous you are, do you?" His voice was a low whisper, sending shivers down her spine. She tried to hide her smile but failed. Slowly, he leaned in, his breath warm against her neck. "Would you like me to make you feel good?" Her heart raced as she nodded, barely able to speak. His hands moved down her legs, teasing her, building anticipation. She leaned back, letting herself get lost in the moment, her mind swirling with the intoxicating sensations. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Michelle Garcia is doing the best she can to get back on her feet along with her 17 year old son. In her 40s, thrown away twice by men she should've been able to trust, she has chosen to focus on what she can control and work hard to provide for herself and Tony. Grant, Trent and Sam are three friends who have been together through thick and thin. Growing up together, they realized that they would always be a team. Them against whatever the world was going to throw at them. They also realized that they never wanted a woman to pull them apart. No Yoko Ono for them, nope. They needed a woman that they could share; one that would hold them together and balance them out. They tried separate relationships in the past but all fizzled out. They never found one that met the needs and desires of all three, until they saw her. RECENTLY EDITED WITH A CHANGE IN THE ENDING
The Moving Times Of Caroline Proudly by CarolineProudly
20 parts Complete
Caroline is 16 when she suddenly decides that her perfectly normal and loving home life is absolutely and completely intolerable. Suddenly moving out of home in 1988 is the beginning of a 13 year journey. As the journey continues, the passage of time has no significance. Always with the ability to find the humorous side, each address marks another chapter in Caroline's life and is the backdrop for the people she meets and the events that occur. Accommodation varies from unheated rooms and houses with wheel-less cars jacked-up outside to Regency flats and rural cottages. Transportation means vary from a single use bicycle, to Betsa and the faithful Dwanetta. Flatmates vary from a lovely Brummie and a singing nun to a dying dog, a ginger laminator, a 3 nippled geek and an accidental spell with a local drugs baron. Events vary from harbouring boarding schoolgirls, exercising racehorses, the occasional rave, trading in shampoo and marmite on toast to looking for stolen laundry, going undercover and self-defence with a hockey stick. Jobs vary from not having one to shop work, bartending and au pair through to getting a toe on the corporate ladder. There is infatuation, and love from various sources so there is also disappointment, and breakups by varying means and for various reasons. Education varies from a bit of formal study to a large dollop of the University of Life. The latter being the real reason Caroline left home in the first place - to grow up in her own way through her own experiences with no-one else to blame but herself and the interesting hand that life deals along the way. Caroline moves home 19 times, only to find that the 20th move takes her to the last place she ever expected to be. Back where she started. Things aren't always as they seem...

30 parts Complete Mature
Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As in any coming of age story, they will experience growing pains... but will they survive them before its too late? PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS.
