So, let'ts talk about Ashton. I'm sorry (not really) to inform you that he is not a cliche bad boy or Mr. Popular, or king of the high school. He's a pretty cool guy who loves hanging out with his friends and sneaking off to the skate park. Good looking? yea. Nice guy? If you get to know him. He's also into this chick. Everyone thinks she's some kind of freak, but he see's past her mysterious exterior and he is definitely interested. Let's talk about this chick. Her name's Haze. Yea, Haze. She's been in and out of foster care since forever. She thinks her real parents are dead, and she thinks that she just has a weird blindness that doesn't completely blind her. She thinks she's just another girl trying to get through high school. She, and everyone else who thinks that, is wrong. What if there's been someone else who's been involved with her life since day one. What if she lives where she lives, and is how she is, for a reason? What if her sight problem isn't really a sickness but something much bigger? Trust me when I tell you Haze's life isn't very normal, and it'll definitely get crazier when she embarks on a bit of a parent finding journey with this Ashton kid. This, ladies and gentlemen, is Haze.

After a particularly terrible experience with her adoptive father and a few drinks, Rebecca Harrison finds her much-needed escape from reality in her soon-to-be biology teacher. When the two meet again at the beginning of the school year, neither know what to make of the situation. But their conflict with each other is no match for the conflict Rebecca faces with her adoptive father, and the two soon find themselves developing a relationship that tests both of their willingness to let others in. For entirely different reasons, they find themselves pushing each other away. Until they realize that their reasons aren't so different at all. This story is girlxgirl, teacherxstudent, and it deals with topics such as abuse, alcoholism, and suicide. It's my best work but it can be depressing at times & may be triggering to some. [Editing on-going, Sequel - TBD]
