Ruby Zibane is in a whole lot of trouble. First: She loses her dad's precious medallion. Second: Her dad disappears. Third: She has to get that medallion back. 

You'll think, sure, what's so hard about finding a medallion? It's a whole lot harder than it looks. Ruby is going to have to find pieces of the medallion located all over the world if she has any hope of getting her father back and saving herself from death. She'll have to face sorcerers and deities. She'll have to lie, steal, and do some dirty work.
