The year is 2300. The world ended just over 200 years ago, due to world superpowers not keeping their tempers in check. Though better than it's been, the world is still a train wreck.
Jake Wildeing is a 26 year-old engineer, born in 2051 and cryogenically frozen in a vault in northern Washington.
