Audrey just wanted to work part-time, save enough money for travel and graduate Grade 12, was that so hard to ask for. Yes. She had been doing quite well thank you, achieving nice grades, having a wonderful friend group and a loving family. Until Derek Knight stepped through her ice-dream shop door on one of her shifts.

Derek just wanted to play football, a sport he loved, hang out with his mates and enjoy his time with his family. That all switched itself up when he laid his eyes upon Audrey on one of her shifts, he hadn't really taken notice of her before, but he definitely enjoyed the sight now. 

From then on, Derek has been trying to befriend and date Audrey, but will things turn out as simple as he thought? And will Audrey start to harbour feelings for Derek before it's too late?
