The men and Women, proudly serving our government stay down there 360 days a year, coming up to spend one work week with their family. But when something goes horribly wrong, a secret is spread throughout the base. They aren't down there to research the ancient beasts that hide in the deep. They're there to be sacrificed to them.

We were just kids. Not experiments. Hundreds of kids were kidnapped at a young age and taken to a place called the Compound. Here they are put through ruthless tests in order to get one thing; mutants. When that breakthrough is finally achieved on A-36971 and a group of unknown people show up the next day, she takes the chance at asking for help using her new 'powers.' But getting this help came at a great cost. Once they're out and free, they realize the head scientist isn't letting them get away that easily. And he doesn't want his lifelong work to be out in the world just yet. So he'll just have to kill his experiments.Complete
Xalune - Echoes from the past
In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete

Till one day, a new boy was brought in and he was strange. But he interested the kids, even the scientists. He was placed in my room and he never spoke a word to anyone. He would wake up in the middle of the night and gasp for air like if there never was any. But he was my friend. Things changed and a few years later, the orphanage was attacked. Two people came in and killed the scientists but spared the children. While making an attempt to escape, I was caught by the remaining scientists and taken away. The screams of my friend echoing behind me as I tried to escape... Such a waste as I became strong and have long forgotten those memories. But side effects came with the experiments they played with. Y/N is the name and being psychotic is my game. Don't try to catch me cause I can read you like a book in a grand library. Runaway
I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. For as long as I can remember, I had been experimented on, drugged to the brink of insanity, and tortured by someone I thought was my family. Boy, was I wrong. This isn't one of those stories where I suddenly get a huge boost of courage and defeat the bad guys then live happily ever after. I don't believe in that stuff anymore. Instead, I was a coward, and ran for my life, for my freedom, because I was too afraid to stand and fight and risk losing control like the monster they had created me to be. I've been too many people, have moved too many times. Now, I wonder if I will finally be able to find a place to call home... I won't allow myself to be captured before I even have a chance at that.
