It's 1592 and the humans are risking everything in the hopes that they may extinguish the ever-growing power that witches hold.

Follow Agnes Aldridge, future leader of the Bloods Burrow witch coven. She's determined to clear the tainted name of her blood-line after the love-charged betrayal of her mother. Agnes has been tasked with a series of quests she must complete before her eighteenth birthday, when she ascends into full power and is made queen of her coven's witches. But Agnes must also face the burdens of keeping her status a secret, even from her human lover.

Martha is the daughter of the notorious witch-slayer, Edmund Langley. Still carrying the hardships from the loss of her mother, she must face the consequences of her actions and opinions alone. Martha doesn't trust the witches, and has grown up to believe in their irrevocable evil. But she holds suspicions that they may not be as malevolent as first thought, especially when an anonymous witch girl is acting as her guardian angel. After voicing her thoughts to her farther, she has been sentenced to confinement in her father's castle, where she discovers there is more to her blood-line then she first thought.

Mirai, the Witch of Sight by High_Priestess_Elena
101 parts Complete Mature
Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. On her 18th birthday, Mirai discovers a mark on the back of her neck displaying the number thirty. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die. Only being able to depend on her less than mediocre skills in seeing the future, Mirai sets out to find the girl before the time is up. Little does she know of the trauma the girl has suffered, nor that finding her is only the beginning. ---------- Mature rating due to: smut, violence, suicide (happens in the prologue while POV-character has her back turned), rape (happens in chapter 30 and will be mentions of it afterwards, fade to black, there will NOT be a trigger warning at the beginning of the specific chapter), violent death of babies, some rather bloody scenes, self-harm, extreme guilt. Note that a major part of this story focus on healing from and learning to live with trauma, so though you could potentially read it but skip some specific parts, if you're not comfortable reading something that deals with the listed topics, then this book won't be for you. ---------- This series will contain the following volumes: Volume 1 - Zoe, the witch of innocence (completed) Volume 2 - Crimson, the witch of night (completed) Volume 3 - Morana, the witch of life (completed) Volume 4 - Mirai, the witch of sight (completed) Volume 5 - Danae, the witch of light (ongoing) Volume 6 - Rheseis, the faerie of love
