People think it is the big things that change lives: winning the lottery, becoming famous, meeting your soulmate. But what if a single picture can change the future for one ordinary girl. A picture that was taken fourteen years ago.
I guess you could say I have a boring life. Boring is in my comfort zone. Boring, but content. when I stumble across a photograph taken fourteen years ago, my life takes a sharp turn. Whether for better or worse? Time can only tell. But something is not right. The round little face that smiles out of the picture. She shouldn't be there. She can't be there. Why is she there?
Something is not right.
I am the girl in the picture.
